As Biden has taken office as the president of the United States of America on January 20, 2020 we can finally analyze his rule. Of course there’s still time to see what the Biden Administration can do in their last year of office, but it seems America has seen the stage. It’s time to understand what has happened in this timeframe and see whether Biden can obtain a second term after 2024. Time is of the essence for the current administration as polls are now being conducted regarding the new presidential candidates.
He took office during the COVID-19 pandemic which is a difficult time for any president to have obtained their power. As America was in turmoil of the so-called deadly virus which was reeking havoc on populations worldwide. Lockdowns, skepticism, and overall low morale has played a large part of the criticisms of the current president. Biden appeared slow to tell Americans they can remove the lockdowns and go on about their days as the virus ended up losing much of its potency and deadliness as the Coronavirus Omnicron Variant was more transmissible, but less deadly.
Biden Administration Beginnings
President Joe Biden apparently received the most votes of any other president in history with Trump receiving the second most votes of any other president. This sparked a huge debate among Americans as the Biden Administration missed many public events creating Trump’s line of Sleepy Joe being in the basement. However, it appears that all of Joe’s missed events and rallies were minor in affecting the overall vote count at the end of the day.
His inauguration and early times in office were set with many setbacks due to protests on January 6th, 2021 when a group of protestors entered the capital building. Many cable mainstream news outlets and multiple online news agencies declared it as an attack and domestic terrorism. People were charged for the entrance into the capital building with claims of their bank accounts being frozen. On top of that event the Trump Administration denied the final vote count which allowed president Biden to win the election claiming there was mismanagement and malicious intent.
Regardless of those two issues there were also many setbacks throughout the presidency as COVID-19 was still taking many American’s lives even with the well touted vaccines from Moderna and Pfizer being in effect. Apart from the COVID-19 pandemic which was affecting American’s lives another issue arose in the middle east with Biden declaring that the United States would be leaving Afghanistan for good this time. The retched leave was improperly managed causing many Afghan-US helpers and United States individuals being trapped in the region.
After 20 years of occupation in the region the Biden Administration did make the correct action to leave the country. However, the withdrawal was a disgrace for the United States of America causing our country to leave behind $7 billion dollars worth of equipment in the region. Our withdrawal which was completed in August 30th of 2021 also caused 13 service members of the United States to be killed in a Kabul attack by the Taliban taking the lives of Marines, an Army member, and a Navy member.
Speeches, Health, & Kamala Harris
Regardless whether the election was “stolen” as Trump lovers state or if Biden should be the president of the United States there is a concern when he’s talking. There are hundreds of videos on the internet highlighting his many gaffes or odd statements which simply don’t make sense. It doesn’t matter if he’s talking about children playing with his blonde leg hairs, shakes the hand of a ghost after a speech, or if he makes a statement which the White House has to walk back.
His mental health and physical health is continuously being debated with many of his own supporters becoming somewhat weary about the president’s shape. The only statement that allows his voters any confidence in his abilities is “at least he’s better than Trump.” In recent speeches and town hall events, Trump has gone on stage to tout his 2024 election running and it appears he’s just as well-spoken as he was in previous years. Something we don’t really see from our current president with many worrying if he can properly climb stairs without falling over.
Two claims Biden had made that were walked back by the White House included his statement about removing Putin from power and claiming to defend Taiwan. Regarding his gaffes or odd speech patterns the evidence becomes quite frequent with many different YouTube videos showing his speech during national addresses. It makes American’s and the Democratic Party voters wonder if they truly want him in office again. It seems today that the majority of Democratic voters would not want him to do a second term, yet he announced running again during the 2024 election.
Kamala Harris is something that generally shouldn’t be talked about as she’s one of the least favored people in politics overall. As she ran for President in the 2020 election she only received single digits polling after a short period of time reaching around 7%-8% in July of 2019. Once she dropped out and Joe Biden won the election, she was picked as the Vice President of the United States of America. Women everywhere were delighted at the fact she was the first female Vice President in history representing women everywhere. However, as she spoke nonsense at many different speeches with nothing truly ever being said, had some odd chuckles on camera, and made a tone-deaf video about science with children her ratings have dropped drastically. People including women no longer see her as an aspiration, but simply see her as a waste of time. Now she is seen as one of the least popular Vice Presidents of all time.
Legacy
During Biden’s reign as president, Americans everywhere are struggling to make ends meat due to the fact that inflation has taken hold of the nation. Due to the many policies, handouts, small business loans, and stimulus payments it has caused 40% of all of dollars to be printed between 2020 to 2021. This has caused record inflation throughout the United States of America causing cars, food, housing, and materials to increase in price within one to two years time. However, some argue the interest rates have been much more in the 20th century.
Even if interest rates have been higher in the 20th century this current interest rate hasn’t been seen within a 40 year time span. Other issues other than the interest rates in modern society is that many illegal immigrants are flowing over the border during Biden’s Administration. Many political figures as well as regular American citizens consider the Biden Presidency to be one of the worst crises at the United States border with over a million attempting to enter into the country illegally with figures breaking records.
Apart from inflation and border security many crucify Biden due to having sowed more division rather than creating unity in the United States of America. During one if his addresses where he promises to address unity and coming together he blatantly blamed Trump voters for being the problem. In reality almost half of America voted for Trump meaning he’s discriminating and fighting against half of the United States population. It doesn’t matter if you agree with the “rigged election” statements, hate Trump, and disagree with the Trump Administration. The reality of the situation is that half of the country has become polarized in one direction of viewpoint with the other half polarized in the opposite direction.
It truly feels like many people cannot get along in the current political atmosphere. Many friends, relatives, and lovers have been lost due to political debates about the presidencies. Essentially it’s important to have genuine discussion about political beliefs without alienating each other in discussion. Whether you’re 100% for Biden or Trump, it truly doesn’t matter as there is only one America. Both sides must drop their allegiances toward their party and start talking it out even if they don’t agree with each other. They’ll find out they have much more in common than not and will most likely come to agreement about the current problems that are plaguing America.
Conclusion
Doesn’t matter if you’re for the Biden Administration or want a complete overhaul of the American system. Biden has been doing whatever he’s capable in the political atmosphere which was coming from a pandemic that swept globally. The conversation should point in the direction of the future and what can be done in current policies to address the issues that are straining American lives today. Neither party technically cares about your rights, beliefs, or position in life as they simply care about getting the votes.
Continue to be honest with your beliefs and fight for what you believe in as freedom is an ultimate need for Americans nationally. Keep in mind that inner cities and rural areas in the nation do not have the same problems and require different approaches for protecting their liberties. Just as homeless won’t be as much of an issue in a rural community compared to an urban city. Another example would be the need for guns to defend yourself against wildlife in a rural community compared to a controlled urban area.
It’s crucial to remember that the Biden Presidency and Administration is not an end all and there will be many new presidents in the future. Again Trump is the same option as his rule will come to an end if he does win the 2024 election cycle. The idea that truly matters from all this nonsense and division is that people genuinely have problems in our nation. Solving inflation, the border crises, terrorist threats, housing and living costs, food insecurity, human trafficking, drugs, job insecurity, and everything else should be our main goals. Let’s ensure that our children, families, friends, and loved ones will have a better life after this debacle that’s happening in the current political turmoil. Don’t be hard-stuck to your ideas and continue to adapt to new formed opinions. Humanity and life requires everyone to continuously evolve and grow as it’s the only reason we are alive today. In 2024, it seems that Trump vs Biden is going to happen again unless something drastic occurs. Let’s see the new battle and where America will end up.
